Great post.
As you have shown above, google has difficulty recognising a Northern Ireland based user and this does cause problems when it comes to SEO.

Another difficulty that it presents is with regards to google ADSENSE. Although Adsense does categorize NI as a region in the admin section, if you select this setting then your ads will pretty much disappear because, as you say, as far as google is concerned most of us seem to be based in London!</description>

We created a second website with a .ie name and it ranks well now in google.ie to reach customers in the south.
It isn&#039;t a big website, but we were told not to duplicate the content from our main site.</description>
