A double whammy win at the UK Digital Excellence Awards

We’re delighted to announce that we won the UK Digital Excellence Awards in both the Integrated Digital Agency of the Year and Best Charity Website categories, the latter being a result of our work with Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People! 
The UK Digital Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding digital websites, campaigns and tools from teams across the nation, recognising and celebrating the outstanding innovation and creativity that goes into their work.
These achievements wouldn’t be possible without each and every member of our team contributing towards the culture we’re building, supporting each other daily and pushing us to collectively be a greater good. the team with their awards

What earned us the win?

Regarding our Integrated Digital Agency of the Year award win, the judges commented: “A real standout agency. We were really impressed with the culture they have created, and we especially loved their internal Ministry of Fun. They showed great examples of achievements and the constant results they deliver for their clients. Their B Corp status is fantastic to see and has pushed them more into the impact space.”
Our team members who worked alongside Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People deserve a special mention for their win in the Best Charity Website category. Rainbows Hospice is the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, where they and their families can find care and support. Their website was an essential platform for staff, service users and as a fundraising tool, too.
Since launching, our results included: 

  • Pages per session have increased by 46%
  • Session duration increased 37%
  • Bounce rate declined 16% 

Off the back of our Best Charity Website award win, the judges said: “In a toughly fought competition, we loved how Hallam set the scene really nicely for the need and potential impact of the new website. They nicely demonstrated how the solution was solving pain-points for the client and building in provisions for the future. Overall fantastic results!”
