Digital PR for Link Building

In one morning, the “Digital PR for Link Building” workshop will give you the confidence and skills you need to make your own effective digital PR strategy. It will provide you with an understanding of the importance of digital PR, the impact on your website of good and bad quality links, the tools you’ll need to improve your success of gaining high-quality backlinks, and how to do it. This workshop is free to attend for small and medium-sized enterprises located in the D2N2 region (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire). It will be of particular interest to those who have responsibility for corporate communications, marketing and digital content.

About the Trainer

Alex Jones MCIPR is the Head of Earned Media at Hallam Internet with specialist expertise in digital PR.

With extensive offline and online experience, Alex currently helps clients increase their online visibility through digital PR, at the same time as building on their search engine marketing efforts. He also manages a team of specialists in social media, digital PR, content marketing, and more. A finalist in CIPR Midlands PRide Awards in the Outstanding Young Communicator category last year, as well as regularly contributing to leading PR and marketing publications, Alex is passionate about PR and helping businesses grow.

This workshop is part-funded via the European Regional Development Fund, therefore we are required to evidence that you are a small to medium enterprise.

There will be a couple of forms that will need to be completed either prior to the event or on the day and these will be sent to you once you have registered. One form is to ensure you are a small to medium enterprise, the second is to capture any business support you have received over the last 3 years to ensure you haven’t exceeded €200,000. If you have previously completed these forms at a Growth Hub event you will not have to complete another set.
