Join Susan Hallam and Sarah Sharples as they discuss gender equality and balance in the workplace.

International Women's Day

Gender equality within businesses has never been more important than it is today. It has become a large economic factor too; in June 2019, the CBI reported that achieving gender balance in the workplace could boost UK GDP by up to £150 billion by 2025! With such a huge impact on a company’s financial situation, it is vital that business leaders focus on building a more equal and balanced work environment.

Coinciding with International Women’s Day 2020, this event will focus on what we can each do as business leaders, employees and individuals to build a more equal environment to enable our businesses to flourish.

It will begin with a talk from Professor Sarah Sharples, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Nottingham. Then Susan Hallam MBE, CEO and Founder of Hallam – one of the UK’s leading digital agencies – will share her perspective on cultivating gender balance in the workplace, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in the digital industry and her leadership of a highly successful SME.

Afterwards, there will be a great networking opportunity along with free breakfast and the opportunity to discuss this important topic that impacts all businesses.
