BetterLanguages.com’s sponsorship supports a wide range of meetings and networking opportunities designed to provide exporters with opportunities to learn, share and network with other exporting organisations. The company joins current emita sponsors UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and Nelsons Solicitors.

Mike Hunter, CEO of Betterlanguages.com, said of the agreement:

“As a long standing emita member and active exporter ourselves, we saw first hand the value of the programme of events emita offers. emita is an important and highly regarded trade association and we’re delighted to be linked to them through this agreement. We hope that this will not only boost the take up of EMITA’s events, but will also help us to contribute to driving export growth across the region.”

Susan Hallam, emita Chairman and MD at Hallam Internet, expressed delight with the new sponsorship agreement.

“The support provided by Betterlanguages.com demonstrates a strong belief in the value of international trade to businesses in the region. As an industry leading provider of translation services, Betterlanguages.com’s participation in emita signals its commitment to furthering the role of export in building successful businesses and a flourishing regional economy.”

The latest statistics show the East Midlands continues to see an increase in the number of companies involved in international trade. During the first half of 2013, almost 4,000 East Midlands firms exported goods around the globe, an increase of 1.6 per cent compared to the first six months of 2012. As a digital marketing agency, Hallam Internet supports this growth in the form of training provided at export events such as Explore Export, and working with a number of clients to help them improve their export businesses through use of the internet.
