Back in September, we welcomed hundreds of marketing delegates to the Broadway Cinema for 2024’s instalment of the Nottingham Digital Summit.
As ever, all proceeds from the event went towards a local charity and this year it was the phenomenal Rainbow’s Hospice for Children and Young People.
Well the money has come through, budgets have been reconciled and we are delighted to announce that the total raised was… £15,316.75! 🎉
Meeting a VIP – Bow Bear!
Our Managing Director, Jake Third, and Anna Murphy, Head of Marketing, presented the cheque to Jane Burns, Rainbows Hospice’s Chief Executive, and to the Rainbows Hospice mascot, Bow Bear.
Rainbows Hospice is a charity that supports babies, children and young people with terminal illness, ensuring they fulfil their potential and capture memories with their loved ones.
Jane said: “We’re dependent on the support we receive from companies like Hallam and it’s because of that support that we can do what we do. We’re expanding our services this year so fundraising support is more vital than ever.”
A big thank you
Every year, the Nottingham Digital Summit donates its proceeds to local charities and, over the last 5 events, we’ve raised over £82,000.
Anna added: “It’s hard to overstate the importance of the work that Rainbows Hospice does. Organising an event like the Nottingham Digital Summit requires immense time, energy and dedication, and it’s all made possible thanks to our fantastic sponsors, speakers, and my colleagues at Hallam. Knowing that we’re raising funds for such a deserving charity makes every effort worthwhile, and I’m delighted with the money we have raised from this year’s event.”
