Alex studied journalism and produced online content for a national newspaper group before starting a second career in development in 2010. After five years of freelance work, he was hired by a Nottingham digital agency where he specialised in back-end development and picked up several awards in the process.
He joined Hallam as a back-end developer and WooCommerce specialist in February 2018.
Alex plays bass guitar in a soul band, writes about football history, keeps fit by occasionally going on long runs and keeps unfit by frequently drinking real ale.
