Jake Third won the Young Director of the Year Award at the Institute of Directors East Midlands Awards 2019, being recognised as one of the most dynamic and inspiring directors in the region.
Jake joined Hallam in 2014 and became our Client Services Director in 2018. He prides himself on being truly customer-centric and driven by mutually beneficial partnerships that lead to the success of both parties.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Anne Davies, BBC East Midlands presenter, was attended by 150 guests and took place at Winstanley House in Leicestershire. Jake was one of the region’s 46 finalists. The 12 winners are going the next stage – the IoD’s national finals in London on 18 October.

A dedicated supporter of The Samaritans of Nottingham, Jake is also a trained ‘listener’ and volunteers his time weekly at the charity. As a result of this relationship The Nottingham Digital Summit, hosted by Hallam on 3 July will be donating all proceeds to The Samaritans.
