Providing support for charities in the Nottingham area

Over the years we’ve raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities in the Nottingham area, supported local businesses with our buying power and helped inspire the next generation of digital marketers thanks to our work experience placements.

We don’t just aim to exceed the norm in our work, but also through our community engagement. That’s why we’re always actively seeking out new ways that we can help create the best society alongside our friends, neighbours and colleagues.

Our responsibilities fall into three broad roles:

Tech Talent Charter

We’ve committed to supporting gender diversity in technology sectors by signing the Tech Talent Charter. Specifically, we are creating opportunities for talented women passionate about all things digital.

IT4Arts

IT4Arts is a charitable initiative run by the Arts Panel of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, one of the City of London’s Livery Companies. It comprises of more than 100 not-for-profit arts and cultural organisations across the UK.

Hallam is aiding the programme in its mission to help the arts make the most of digital communications and connect to their audiences. We regularly deliver workshops on the latest digital marketing trends and techniques to support the member organisations reach their online objectives.

Creative Quarter

Our CEO, Susan Hallam MBE, is the appointed Chair of the Creative Quarter Company Board. It’s become a catalyst for the city’s economic growth, supporting the start-up of creative and digital businesses across Nottingham.

The Creative Quarter’s efforts go towards creating high-value jobs, and promoting the city as a great place to live, learn, work and invest.
