Let’s take the first step. We’re ready.

We’re one of Europe’s leading paid media agencies

We’ve been at the forefront of digital marketing since 2000. Today, Hallam is a a Google Premier Partner agency, recognised by Google in the top 3% of all digital marketing agencies for Paid Media.

We’re highly recommended by our clients

We’ve won the Drum’s most recommended agency award (Grand Prix) for three years running, based entirely on recommendations from our clients.

We blend art and science

Effective advertising takes a combination of precision targeting and persuasive creativity. Our agency has both in abundance. Our Paid Media team consists of data scientists and platform specialists who work closely with our creative team to ensure all campaigns are able to catch the attention of your potential customers.

We fuse precision and persuasion

What’s the point in obsessing over the perfect targeting options if your creative fails to capture the attention of your target audience?

At its core, advertising is the monetisation of attention. We invest in building integrated, attention-grabbing creative into all advertising campaigns, leaning on cutting edge data management techniques to optimise performance across all leading ad networks.

Media neutrality

Most channel-specific agencies and specialists are unconsciously biased, meaning many will always consider the tool before the objective – this goes against the concept of media neutrality.

Planning should never start by choosing media networks, it begins with building a deep understanding of your customers, and then looking at how to effectively communicate with them through advertising.

Effectiveness over efficiency

An obsession with efficiency can hamper growth and effectiveness. With new state of marketing and complex user journeys, it’s crucial to not be too caught up in the direct ROI from a campaign, looking instead at the overall effectiveness of your ads on business performance.

Balance

We encourage our clients to balance long-term brand building with short-term sales activation to maximise business growth.

Attention

We deliver memorable, distinctive campaigns that command attention in a crowded media landscape. You can have the perfect targeting and choose the perfect network, but if a user scrolls straight past your ad it’s useless. Creative is the key to driving interaction and getting users to your website.

We’re more than a PPC agency.

Working with Hallam means exposure to all areas of digital, whether that’s advertising, brand or website design.

Recognised industry expertise

Our experts regularly contribute to the most important conversations happening in marketing today — we’re helping to lead the conversation in marketing. You’ll find our voice featured in articles on The Drum, Search Engine Land, Search Engine Journal, Econsultancy, State of Digital and many more places.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I work with Hallam as a PPC agency?

Aside from the impressive list of awards our PPC team has won, including Google’s Premier Partner Award EMEA in 2019, our team of specialists has decades of experience between them, covering the full spectrum of paid media services. Check out our case studies for more award-winning results.

What type of PPC clients does Hallam work with?

We’ve worked in pretty much every business vertical and have a depth of knowledge in both e-commerce and lead gen clients that sets us apart from most agencies. We can tailor objective-led strategies for smaller growing clients right up to huge multinationals, covering a breadth of budgets. The most important thing to remember is that we will always create a bespoke PPC strategy for you, underpinned with integrated business data to prove our effectiveness.

How do you report on progress?

We develop a bespoke Google Data Studio dashboard for each of our clients, which summarises performance across PPC, SEO, Social Media, Digital PR and any other channels agreed upon. We also provide a clear and concise commentary to point out successes and areas of improvement.

You will have access to our project management tool, giving you transparency on the activities we are carrying out on a month-by-month basis and how these tie into the overarching strategy agreed with you to achieve your business objectives.

On which channels can you do PPC advertising?

We will advertise on any channel deemed relevant to your business strategy, often starting with the basics of Google Search, Display, Video, Shopping and Microsoft Advertising. We also offer Programmatic, Affiliate Marketing and Social Media advertising on both mainstream platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as more niche platforms like Pinterest and Reddit.

What KPIs and metrics do you use to track progress?

This completely depends on the campaigns we are running for you and how they align with your wider business objectives. For upper-funnel PPC campaigns, we’re more likely to measure views, impressions, traffic and recall lift. With lower-funnel campaigns, we’ll measure key metrics like volume of leads/conversions, return on ad spend or cost per acquisition.

What’s the difference between PPC and SEO?

SEO is the set of processes and techniques used to increase your website’s visibility in search engines like Google and Bing ‘organically’ (without the direct exchange of money). PPC is a method of advertising across networks, using a Pay-Per-Click pricing model. You pay for each click on your adverts, which direct online traffic to your website.
