About the speakers

Ben Wood is Performance Director at Hallam, overseeing digital strategy across our entire client base. After joining Hallam in 2012 from FTSE 100 company Experian, Ben has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company, delivering outstanding results for our clients. A highly respected author and public speaker, Ben is passionate about performance marketing and how brands can use this to their advantage.

Jennifer Shaw-Sweet is EMEA Lead for The B2B Institute. After 20 years in top 10 network agencies, Jenny jumped over to LinkedIn to work within the B2B institute, its own think tank. Her research interests lie in business, marketing, branding, the power of creativity, human rights and anthropology.

David Walsh is Insights Director at LinkedIn. As a strategist, David combines his passion for innovation with in-depth experience of global media, digital marketing, insights and analytics to deliver creative solutions to clients that dramatically increase sales and play a fundamental part in propelling their brand to the next level.

Alex Jackson is a Paid Media Team Lead at Hallam. He works across all aspects of paid social, affiliates, display and programmatic advertising, including account management, media planning strategy, branding and re-branding campaigns. His passion for digital marketing and drive to combine creativity with a data-led approach is something he tries to ground in all the work he does.

Julie Reid is Head of Brand at Hallam. She has over a decade of marketing experience in both agency and client-side roles, working with B2B and B2C clients in North America, the UK and Europe across a range of sectors. Her focus lies in content marketing, creative projects, customer experience and a passion for sustainability and social justice.

About the panel

Azeem Ahmad is Global Digital Marketing Lead at the ESI Group. Azeem is an award-winning digital marketer and international conference speaker, with several years of experience in the industry managing millions in marketing spend, covering multiple disciplines. He also hosts his own digital marketing podcast, rated amongst the top marketing podcasts globally, called “Azeem Digital Asks”, and has previously been a judge at many search awards across the globe, including the Global Digital Excellence Awards, and both the European and US Search Awards.

Friné Oudeman is a Venezuelan-Dutch citizen based in Zurich where she works as the Head of Global Marketing for Luware. She has worked in several B2C and B2B companies from very different industries and has a passion for digital marketing and lead generation.

Kier Humphreys is Hallam’s Sales Director and the panel host. Previously Hallam’s Experience Director, leading our creative, digital experience and conversion rate optimisation offering, Kier has worked both agency and client-side over the past 14 years. His career has seen him working with national and international brands across various sectors, from global professional services giant PwC to Virgin’s Formula E racing team.
