Tom is a Content Marketing & PR Consultant here at Team Hallam and has a wealth of PR, communications, and content marketing experience across a range of different sectors.
After graduating from the University of Huddersfield with a first-class BA (Hons) degree in Sports Journalism, he held a long-term communications role at Derby County Football Club. He has since, however, shown a commitment to diversify, broaden and improve his skillset by managing PR and content campaigns within the leisure management and retail industries.
Tom is a specialist in helping clients increase their visibility through creative digital content and exciting campaigns. He is also proven when it comes to relationship building with media partners – a quality that has allowed him to generate quality coverage and deliver strong results throughout his career.
Prior to joining the team at Hallam, Tom thrived as the PR point of contact on a number of excellent campaigns; including Grow – an initiative to give local independent businesses an opportunity to open in a shopping centre – which proved so popular in Cambridge that it was rolled out across the client’s wider portfolio throughout the UK.
Remember the badger that fell through the roof at a shopping centre in Northampton? He managed all the PR behind that unusual event and achieved outstanding results across local and national media prior to taking up his role here at Hallam.
Away from work, Tom continues to spend most of his time creating content or storytelling and if he’s away from his laptop, you can guarantee that you will find him making a coffee!
